Tween Portraits



As a parent, I know what it's like when you just want some nice photos of your child and they aren't into it. Fake smiles and frustration! Or maybe someone is stuck in a rut of just one classic pose or selfie-face when your goal is a bit more variety.  

My own tween loves a fierce expression and chin-raise almost as much as playing with bold lip colours. Which gives a great moment reflecting where we are in our lives right now - but isn't always what I am going for.  That's where my strategy of going with the flow and capturing organic, authentic expressions comes in - without the pressure to be just so, it is easier to relax and be natural, leading to some great images.
